Jorge Adrian Valenzuela-Valenzuela, a 30-year-old male who has been previously arrested for a slew of crimes, is currently being held by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office following an incident involving a stolen vehicle.

According to the inmate records, Valenzuela also has an immigration detainer hold, indicating he is in the country illegally.

Last month, it was reported by WKRN that the man stole a Nashville woman’s car and attempted to evade Metro Nashville Police (MNPD) Officers after the owner located the vehicle using GPS.

The chase spanned two counties and included Mt. Juliet Police and a helicopter, ultimately ending in a foot-chase to finally apprehend Valenzuela.

When searching his backpack, MNPD officers found burglary tools, including pliers and screwdrivers, and several more sets of car keys. Valenzuela’s records revealed he was driving on a suspended license and thanks to his joyride, added an additional nine felony and misdemeanor charges to his rap sheet.

– Vehicle Theft, less than $60,000 (Felony)

His charges include:

– Probation Violation (Misdemeanor)

– Possession of Burglary Tools (Misdemeanor)

– Vandalism, under $10,000 (Felony)

– 2 counts of Evading Arrest (Misdemeanor & Felony)

– Reckless Driving (Misdemeanor)

– Driving on a Suspended License (Misdemeanor)

Bond is listed at $80,000 for all offenses.

Valenzuela’s criminal record in the Nashville-Davidson jurisdiction supposedly spans a mere five months yet features a variety of offenses, both misdemeanor and felony, including crimes like theft, vandalism, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license, and evading arrest according to records from Nashville’s Criminal Court Clerk.

In October of 2024, Valenzuela was convicted of theft and subsequently sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail beginning Dec. 16, 2024, but was back on the streets with no explanation, allowing him to resume his crime spree.

Most of his case statuses are labeled “CLOSED” and some of those appear to have been closed without conviction or with judgement deferred.

Related to his most recent arrest, the charges are marked “CLOSED-INDICTED”, which means the law enforcement portion of the investigation has concluded and a grand jury returned and indictment, leaving an “OPEN” criminal case.

He is set to appear before Judge Steve Dozier on January 29, with the reason listed as “Discussion”. It is unknown if Immigration and Customs Enforcement will have taken possession of the offender before that date.

Perhaps illegal aliens like Valenzuela will finally be permanently removed from the state with President Donald Trump’s mass deportation plans beginning as early as Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Governor Lee’s promises to support them.
