Make Europe Great Again (MEGA) or Trump’s tornado

IT WAS reported in the MSM predictably as a ‘hard right’ event, so it is more than possible you missed the real story of the inaugural Patriots for Europe summit, which marked ‘a significant moment in the unification of nationalist forces across the continent’. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Italian Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini and French National Rally leader Marine Le Pen were among those who addressed the summit, ‘echoing Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and calling for a nationalist revival in Europe’. Times Now World reports:

France 24 also reports this as a ‘far right’ show of force here. But it less reflected ‘far right’ politics than ‘fast changing’ democratic ones, calling for a change in the leadership of the European Union. Their strategy for the coming months was set out at the two-day summit along the lines of defending national sovereignty, freedom, and European identity, and rejecting mass immigration. You can read and see Viktor Orban’s keynote speech here.

US commentator Steve Turley reports on the rally and discusses how these European parties have been buoyed by President Trump’s win.

Still in Europe, Italy is fed up with the World Health Organization and has good reasons for wanting to leave. Their money would be better spent at home. Michael Heaver reports on the urgent xxit proposed.

In Britain neither Labour or Conservative have a grip on immigration, just the same old lies. Fergus Mason spells out 25 years’ worth. He has no more faith in Kemi Badenoch’s latest convoluted plan than any that have gone before. Meanwhile the numbers have just risen and risen.

Rupert Lowe, the rising star of UK politics, however, is crystal clear about what he would do – detain and deport, he said in his speech to a Reform rally two weeks ago for anyone who missed it.

For those of  you who want to see more of Lowe and his thinking, here is his interview with The Black Belt Barrister.

But is it already too late given the country’s descent into sectarian politics as this GB News investigation into the leaders of one such new party in Birmingham suggests. Warning: if this is a portent of things to come, this is scary.

The people the police tend to chase these days are not bribers or doubtful lawyers but anyone who dares question immigration. Bobbies are certainly on the beat against hate crime. Silver Fox’s shocking overnight police cell experience suggests none of us is safe any more. Calmer than most people would be if they had the State’s Stasi knocking on their door, here is his account of his (outrageous) arrest.

Will the farmers be next, I wonder? Here is the Hindustan Times report on the protest in London last week – watch as more than 1,000 tractors filled Whitehall in their third demonstration in four months.

US and USAID

How did they get away with it has to be the question most of us ask. Here Simplicius gives a brilliant explanation. He recalls the concept of ‘hypernormalisation’ or the ‘normalcy bias’ effect that once gripped Soviet citizens living amidst a decaying political system and says it is just as relevant to the post war ‘liberal’ order once it began to ran out of steam.

Thankfully in the States at least such corrupt normalcy is fast being upturned thanks to the Terrible Trio (in the eyes of the Munich security conference delegates) or Three Musketeers (in the eyes of European patriots), Trump, Musk and RFK Jr.

Here you can enjoy watching Laura Ingraham interviewing RFK on his plans to solve America’s spiritual and health crisis.

More good news on the health front came with Trump’s pick of a permanent Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) administrator who aligns with Nancy Reagan’s 1980s ‘War on Drugs‘ campaign and with his top health lawyer pick – a man who thinks marijuana is a dangerous drug. Appointments that are indeed encouraging and will have the destructive pro-cannabis lobby and ‘medical’ marijuana industry in a spin. It comes not a moment too late as new population based research shows the proportion of new schizophrenia cases linked to cannabis use has nearly tripled in almost two decades, increasing gradually as access to the drug was expanded for medical and later recreational use.

Ukraine – the deal

First a long X thread on whether Trump and Putin can strike a peace deal and why both leaders have an interest in breaking the Ukrainian regime.

Here Redacted describes how the Trump and Putin talks have thrown warmongers into meltdown.

From ten days ago, Lena Petrova reveals the proposed sale of Ukraine’s minerals by Zelensky to Trump to keep the war going.

Once again its taken Trump to tell the truth in a brilliant ‘the emperor has no clothes’ moment, saying of the ghastly Zelensky only what’s been know from the start

Simpliciusthe Russian blogger, meanwhile, doesn’t think the warmongers are going to let go so easily. You can read his evidence for this assertion here.

Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto would appear to agree. He’s condemned Macon’s emergency Paris summit last Monday as being really about thwarting peace and prolonging the war. Zero Hedge reports on this and Zelensky’s exclusion.

Electric car insanity persists

Geoff Buys Cars is concerned about lithium battery fires in the UK and around the world.

Here he reports on Porsche switching back to petrol and diesel.

Finally he lifts the lid on electric cars again – this time reporting on the UK’s Motability Scheme for disabled drivers. Is putting them in EVs a good idea? Geoff isn’t so sure.
