SILENCE, when things do not go as expected, has become a corporate strategy. This is clear in the case of Pfizer’s new flu jab which was touted as an upgrade. Pre‑launch commentary radiated confidence, but the clinical trial results have not resulted in a triumphant social‑media blitz or appearances by polished spokespeople.
Flushed with the success, at least financially, of their mRNA covid vaccine which, as reported by the European Parliament in 2023, had netted them in excess of $30billion, Pfizer were determined to do it again with their flu vaccinations. But it looks as if they have failed. Public safety came lower down the safety ladder than Big Pharma profits.
In these pages, TCW has repeatedly exposed the scam that was the Pfizer covid vaccines. Like any of the suite of vaccines inflicted on the world in the wake of the covid event they barely work, offering absolute risk reduction hovering around 1 per cent. More important is the widespread harms these vaccines caused, including all manner of vascular problems and death. While few know anyone who died of covid, many people know someone harmed by a Pfizer covid vaccine.
As covid and concomitant profits wane, flu rises along with the opportunity for Big Pharma to make more money. Aided and abetted by the leftstream media, companies such as Pfizer tried to suppress the harmful effects of their products.
The global health community, governments, scientists and senior medics exercised considerable leniency over the ‘Warp Speed’ production of covid vaccines. After all, there was an ‘unprecedented global health emergency’. With that in mind, Pfizer clearly thought they could do it again and developed a flu vaccine using mRNA technology.
As readers of TCW will be aware, the annual flu panic is ‘a load of old humbug’ in the first place. In the UK it has a great deal more to do with instilling fear in the population and keeping the NHS in the limelight, and less to do with any real danger to most of the population. Moreover, in common with their cousins, the covid-19 vaccines, the flu vaccines when examined for absolute risk reduction, are a great deal less effective than we are led to believe.
Undeterred, Pfizer proceeded to produce a flu vaccine using mRNA technology, the qIRV, and ran a registered clinical trial NCT05540522 comparing qIRV with the existing flu vaccine QIV. As promised in their quarterly earnings release for the third quarter of 2023, they released the results as they were legally obliged to do. However, unlike the fanfare that accompanied the release of the results of their initial trials of the covid vaccines, this was done quietly. Nothing has reached the ears of the public and the leftstream media let us down once again by failing to investigate and report.
Luckily, vaccine sleuth Alex Berenson is more diligent and reported the outcome of the new Pfizer flu vaccine trials in his Substack in a post titled: ‘VERY URGENT: Pfizer’s mRNA flu shot failed its pivotal clinical trial in adults 65 and over’. Using the figures presented in the Pfizer results, Berenson calculates that over-65s were 6 per cent more likely to get flu, and 49 older recipients of the mRNA vaccine died compared with 46 who had the standard vaccine.
In terms of local reactions to the vaccine (pain, redness, swelling at the injection site), the experimental flu vaccine caused 27 per cent more of these in people aged 18-64 and 43 per cent more in over-65s. In terms of systemic reactions (fever, tiredness, headache, chills) the experimental flu vaccine caused 17 per cent more of these in people aged 18-64 and 24 per cent more in people aged over 65. An average of nearly 69.5 per cent in both age groups had local reactions and 65 per cent had systemic reactions to the experimental vaccine.
We need to be vigilant. It is not clear, despite the failure of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine in the recent trial, whether it will achieve the necessary safety certification or even if the company will still choose to distribute it. A vaccine that causes more adverse effects than the standard flu jab ought, in a rational system, to trigger debate and serious scrutiny. But then, the same could be said for the mRNA covid vaccines, and they are still being administered.
