My God, I hate these people.
It pains me to say that, because, for most of my life, I believed that the liberals who populate our elite institutions were not evil, but just wrong.
Not anymore. For some time now, I have been aware that there is a cancerous growth within our elite, but for the most part, I believed that most liberals in public life were just useful idiots. But something happened, I think, during the Bush II administration that transformed the Democratic Party into a cult of hatred for America and the West.
I still don’t believe that view is shared by most liberals I know, but it is the driving force that motivates the Western elites.
There are too many examples to mention here, although I rail about them all the time. Gender ideology, decarceration, embrace of pedophilia and Islam, hate speech laws aimed at silencing normal people, the WEF agenda, climate hysteria, the ideological takeover of our public schools, the serial hoaxes, and the lawfare. It’s all of a piece.

Yep, our first concern should be when a terrorist tries to murder a synagogue full of Jewish children is “what does his village in Lebanon think?”

Nothing makes this more clear than the embrace of the Islamic Republic and the rooting for the United States to lose the war. Whether it is leftist activists who are now chanting for US soldiers to come home in boxes, or the oh-so-sophisticated undermining of the war effort and propaganda being pushed that Iran is winning the war.

From the moment the war began, the propaganda has been nonstop. Claims that Trump had no cause to attack Iran because it didn’t present a threat are absurd, as is the claim that he hasn’t explained the war aims.
If you can’t name the war aims, that’s on you. They have been outlined constantly.

The goal of all this propaganda is obvious: to undermine public support for President Trump and especially the war. Wars are battles of will at least as much as contests of military power. You can win every battle and still lose a war if you decide to give up. And our elite want Trump to be defeated.

Both The New York Times and Foreign Policy have published essays saying exactly that. America is a rogue power, and the world would be better off with Iran defeating the United States.
But few in the elite are quite so bold. Instead, they are Grima Wormtongue, whispering into the ears of liberals.
The Economist in particular has been on a tear, pushing Iranian propaganda to such an extent that it defies parody.

The rhetorical war on Israel has been going on for years, but since October 7th, when terrorists attacked and murdered over a thousand Israelis, liberals have been rooting for Hamas to finish the job.
