There Is Absolutely Nothing That Gavin Newsom Won’t Grift Off Of – HotAir

Gavin Newsom is nothing if not an accomplished grifter.

He grifts for himself, he grifts for his friends, his allies, his political supporters, and for the Democratic pols whom he hopes will help him grift from the White House.

There is absolutely nothing he will not grift from. His homeless grift is legendary. He has managed to suck out billions of tax dollars to manufacture more homeless people, and use the increasing number of homeless people he has farmed into existence to get even more tax dollars from willing taxpayers who think they are helping.

Newsom, who is leaving the governorship of California to measure the drapes in the White House, is using his last few months to shower even more of his friends with money that will find its way into his friends’ and his own pockets.

He is grifting off of babies, now, because of course he is. Everybody loves babies, right? At least the ones who make it past the abortionists, whom Newsom also funds, and who have helped him rise to his current position.

Free diapers sounds nice enough, although it does seem a bit odd that an NGO supported by all the A-list stars needs an injection of cash from the coffers of the state. And those A-list stars are all friends of Gavin.

It’s even odder that the math doesn’t math up.

Translation: Political connected Los Angeles “non profit” is allocated $7.4 million by Gavin Newsom; proposes $12.5 million next year.

Easy math, 100 diapers per a box, or 4 boxes per newborn.

The cheapest box of diapers (96; round 100) at Walmart retails (not wholesale) for $20.

San Francisco has approximately 6,800 births a year.

6,800 newborns * 4 boxes per newborn * $20 a box = $544,000

$7.4 million – $544,000 = $6.8 million

$7.4 million is approximately 10% of Baby2Baby’s revenue.

Also concerning is that revenue, expenses, and liabilities, spike in 2020, 2022, 2024. Election years.

Co-CEO Kelly Sawyer Patricof donated to Gavin Newsom, as well as Jasmine Crocket, Esther Kim Varet, and Act Blue.

Relatively low amounts, but the board and advisors are mostly A-list Hollywood actresses. Some early donors to Newsom’s campaigns.

Approximately 10% of expenses salaries. Theoretically $36 million in operations, that’s 1.8 million boxes of diapers, or at 4 boxes a newborn, 450,000 newborns.

10 year report claims approximately 1,100,000 served in 2020, when expenses were closer to $30 million.

So what they are/were probably doing is one box at wholesale per newborn, pocket the difference.

Again the red flags are the election year spikes, this is Hollywood, and it’s Gavin Newsom and California now has a 10% stake in its operations.

At best the profit is a lifestyle slush fund for parties (to include mutually supportive pink issue fundraisers since these are the same social circles).

Copy pasta all climate change galas.

Gavin Newsom has a few NGOs that are basically run by his wife or through his office, which happen to provide nice perks and privileges to his friends and family. Money flows in from FoGs, perks flow out to the politically connected.

It’s enough to make you wonder what happens during those nice dinners at the French Laundry, or when Gavin is sipping wine at his own or his friends’ vineyards.

A NGO is that pays for Governor Gavin Newsom’s “ceremonial events” provided free “burner phones” to top tech and business CEO’s in California so they could have a direct line to Gavin Newsom

Each phone was pre-programmed with Gavin Newsom’s personal direct number

They included a personalized note saying something like: “If you ever need anything, I’m a phone call away.”

SO MUCH CORRUPTION and secret deals have to be been happening in California

California is NGO heaven, and Newsom has figured that out and how to make it work for him. About 10% of the workforce now works for “nonprofits,” and the industry is a bigger employer than the finance, construction, and entertainment sectors.

None of the math works when comparing what is spent and what is delivered. The demand for services keeps skyrocketing, yet the needs are never met, no matter how much money is poured into the sector.

Newsom and his friends, though, have done quite well out of it. As NGOs expand, Democratic power has expanded right along with it. And as Democratic power expands, the flow of money to NGOs keeps rising, as do votes from this large and growing sector of the economy.

A lot of the money goes straight to politics, diapers not included. The state funds CHILRA, an illegal immigrant organization, and CHILRA is a big player in California politics.

It’s all payola. Everybody gets a nice cut.

There is one good thing about this particular expenditure: you can see the value it provides whenever you take that diaper off a baby. It’s full of…
