Why does the NHS keep harassing the elderly to have covid jabs?

THE 2026 covid jab season ends on June 30 and so far, according to the NHS, around 3.5million doses have been administered, mainly to the over-75s.

That means that three-and-a-half million people have been stupid enough to go for yet another shot in the arm. Haven’t they paid any attention to the dire warnings on TCW and other sites? Haven’t they read about the severe damage and even death that the covid jabs can cause? There has been enough evidence, surely.

Apparently not. The NHS website has stated numerous times, and continues to state, that serious side effects are ‘very rare’ and that the vaccine has met strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.

Yet those who have submitted themselves to the latest jab have been reporting quite severe side effects.  One woman in her 80s who has just had her covid jab wrote on Facebook: ‘Covid jab yesterday so I’m laid out feeling feverish with brain fog and with a painful arm. I told the vaccination bods that I react badly to the Moderna vaccine but it’s all that’s available. I feel like a zombie.’

Another octogenarian posted on FB:  ‘I had mine three weeks ago and am still washed out and tired.’

A third jabee posted: ‘I had a bad reaction for the first time this year and to the same vaccine. It annoyed me because I think of Moderna as the Dolly Parton vaccine and I can’t be allergic to Dolly.’

Well, that’s three people who have reported bad reactions. You may say that three is not all that many but what about those who have had severe side effects and not listed them on FB?

One has to ask: why do they keep going for the jab if it makes them feel so ill and tired?

An answer under the comments below Danny Lockwood’s piece on June 18 said it all, probably: ‘They keep sending for me.’  And yes, my God, they do.

It seems as if the over-75s, the cohort now being bullied to come for their covid jab, believe they have to have it, that it’s an order, a command from on high that must be obeyed. And ‘they’ never give up.

Even though I have repeatedly told my GP practice that I am not interested, this year I have received no fewer than four invitations to come for ‘my’ free covid vaccine. This time I did not reply but just ignored the texts and phone calls. And when I imagined they had given up bothering me, just the other day I had a letter from the NHS about ‘Booking your spring COVID-19 vaccination’ and a warning that the last date I could get this jab was June 30.

But the latest leaflet doesn’t stop with the covid vaccine. It also asks en passant: ‘Have you had your RSV vaccination?’ adding that all over-75s are now eligible for this jab to protect against respiratory syncytial virus which can cause pneumonia and other life-threatening conditions.

The leaflet lists the many ways in which you can obtain the vaccines, such as a home visit from your GP. Yet if you wanted to see the doctor for anything else you would probably have a long wait, if indeed you could get an appointment at all. And yet it seems that all GP practices have endless time to phone and text their elderly patients to come along for their wonderful free jab. And how much does it cost the NHS to post these ‘invites’? (Note: the correct term ‘invitation’ seems to have disappeared.)

And what has happened to covid in the meantime? It no longer seems to be a dire threat although the powers that be are trying their best to keep the fear going, assuring us that although cases of covid are not on the rise, the nasty virus is still lurking around ready to pounce.  And beware, there may be horrid variants still to come, so whatever you do, don’t drop your guard.

Naturally, every attempt is being made to make people believe that it is the wonderful vaccine programme which has kept this infection at bay when the reality is that there is no such evidence.

Many celebrities heavily promoted the covid vaccine, while knowing nothing whatever about vaccinations and how they might work in the body. Jeremy Clarkson for instance recommended the AstraZeneca vaccine in 2021 and now he is apparently ill with aggressive prostate cancer. Whether or not the two are related we will probably never know, but oncologist Professor Angus Dalgleish’s studies showing a strong link between cancer and the covid vaccines are hard to ignore.

While on the subject, an NHS nurse, Penny Ann Senner, has been struck off for telling a patient in 2023 that her cancer was caused by the covid jab while giving her an anti-vaccination leaflet and pointing her to an anti-vaccination website. Perhaps this was inadvisable and inconsiderate, as it caused the seriously ill patient great distress, but in making its judgment, the Nursing and Midwifery Council stated that ‘the nurse had attempted to undermine public confidence in public health advice’.

True, it is sometimes hard to dismiss public health advice, so-called, as it comes at us relentlessly from every angle, as the four ‘invites’ for my covid vaccination this spring have shown. But instead of meekly going along with this advice, we should question it at every turn and do our own independent research, such as that reported for many years now by TCW.

Maybe then we will not yield to yet another covid jab, thereby risking serious harm.
