Last year, 2024 was astonishing. An election feast for political pundits. And not just in the United States, although it did get the lion’s share of attention all year, over sixty states held elections. So many political stages were swept clear of the tired old acts that, long past their best, had dominated them for ages. It was rough and tumultuous. The political world is now in pause, contemplating a tabula rasa.
After the tired old acts have now departed, we have had the festive season, we have the opportunity for some immediate dressing up of the stages world-wide, for the new season.
Now the scene shifters have moved onto the backdrops updating as they went. The lighting crew changed the colours, and the band have learned some new songs. Stage crew have reset the props, and a new show is about to hit the ground running.
If 2024 was a prelude. Curtain is now Up on the 2025 season and it should be a riot! Hang on this will be a tense ride! Trump, Musk, Starmer, Farage, Panama, Gulf of America, Greenland just as the overture, hey what’s not to love?
