DEAR Editor,
The issues facing the country revolve around the Establishment’s obsession with globalism, and its attendant corruption. This has resulted in ordinary people struggling with ever-increasing government meddling in their affairs; ever-increasing government expenditure and the runaway taxation levels; the ridiculous costs of energy driven by the fraudsters presently led by Miliband; and the consequences of uncontrolled mass immigration. No political party is offering solutions to these problems, and this includes Reform.
Recent events have demonstrated that Reform has no intentions of reforming anything and that it is definitely not going to challenge any politically correct narrative. Preventing Rupert Lowe speaking out about the serious damage caused by immigration is only the latest example of Reform’s desire to remain within parameters defined by the very establishment that has caused the problems.
I was a Reform member until Richard Tice started making policy statements straight from the Conservative Party book of ambiguity, causing me to cancel my membership with immediate effect.
Reform, led by Farage (who blew any prospect of Brexit being properly implemented by withdrawing all candidates and gifting the election to Johnson), has committed political hara-kiri and will probably be subsumed into the Conservative Party.
There is still a vital need for a new political party that will represent ordinary people. Perhaps, we can hope that Robert Lowe can form such a party and attract the backing of Elon Musk.
M Colley,
Cambridgeshire
