We are republishing all our articles since The Conservative Woman began in 2014 on the Pakistani rape gangs, the failure of successive administrations to root them out, right the wrongs of the victims, or to face up to their own discriminatory multicultural and racism policies that provided such fertile ground for this criminality. The articles are appearing in chronological order, providing a daily reminder to those in power that nothing less than a statutory public inquiry, including a remit to investigate a near 25-year cover-up and collusion between national and local government, is a sufficient response to the shocking betrayal of thousands of young white girls. Today’s article was first published on December 7th, 2018, under the heading ‘Steyn damns the Right for giving in on everything that matters’.
Laura Perrins recently implored us to listen Mark Steyn’s latest audio Q&A. I second Laura’s recommendation.
As is his custom, Steyn has now used the surfeit of questions received for that live audio broadcast to produce a supplementary video. Erudite and excoriating, the latest edition of Mark’s Mailbox finds Steyn in superlative form.
Of particular interest to a UK audience will be a section (from 08:00) on Sammy Woodhouse, a victim of what Mark Steyn calls ‘one of the most evil phenomena of our times’.
Impregnated at 14 by one of a Rotherham rape gang, Sammy recently was back in the news as the young woman whose convicted rapist, ‘Mad Ash’ Hussain, had been contacted about care proceedings by Rotherham social services (contact which apparently was made during 2017, when the same council was nominated for, wait for it, ‘social work employer of the year’).
Steyn talks movingly of ‘one of the bravest women I’ve ever met’. By courageously waiving her anonymity, ‘no one did more to expose . . . the silence of an evil state in Rotherham’.
During the broadcast Mark skilfully gathers the common threads from various questions and builds an impassioned jeremiad: ‘Culture trumps economics because culture is where you live . . . You can never have truly conservative government in a liberal culture.’
Steyn seethes at how, while the Left has without even a fight ‘redefined marriage and abolished biology’ on both side of the Atlantic, ‘the Right isn’t playing for a single thing that matters. It’s pathetic.’
Exasperated, at one point Mark concedes: ‘I’m getting a bit worked up here.’ You will too, if you watch and listen to this captivating broadcast.
