Nothing Says ‘Heaven’ to a Dead Ayatollah Like a Flock of Little Girls – HotAir

Even allowing for cultural differences, the Islamic fundamentalists that have been waging war on the United States since violently overthrowing the Iranian government 47 years ago have rightfully earned themselves a reputation as vicious, misogynistic pigs.

There’s no sugarcoating who they are and the abominations they have encouraged and condoned. Over four decades of miserable, unbearable physical and mental torture, they have diabolically meted out to the once stunning, intelligent, educated, and independent women of Iran.

This once vibrant half of Persian society was reduced almost overnight to chattel status. Demeaning and crushing their very womanhood has been a source of grim amusement and entertainment for the deeply twisted and barbarous followers of the Islamic Revolution’s vanguard.

Not that American AWFLs have noticed in the interim or opened their constantly open yaps in support, to their eternal shame.

Much like their – as hard as it is to imagine – sisters who have it even worse, condemned as they are to existence among the cave-dwelling Islamic Neanderthals in Afghanistan, the once cosmopolitan Iranian women can still remember the days when a university degree was attainable, and savoring a new hairstyle for everyone to admire was a pleasure no one was denied.

SYMBOL OF A RADICAL REVOLUTION AGAINST DEEP-ROOTED TABOOS, HABITS, PREJUDICES

From that.

To hanging the victim for being female.

Atefah Sahaaleh, 16 years old, was hanged by the Iranian regime. Her crime? She was raped. That’s why today is a great day.

The Revolution’s guiding light, a revolting sadist named Ayatollah Khomeini *spits*, succored by the French until he could safely return to destroy his country and subjugate the proud Persian women, offered an encyclical on the treatment of women prisoners.

You’re right—the image is Ayatollah Khomeini (d. 1989), not Khamenei. The meme’s quote isn’t verbatim from him but describes documented 1980s prison practices under his regime: virgin female political prisoners (esp. PMOI) were forced into sigheh “marriages,” raped, then executed to bar them from heaven as martyrs. Confirmed in Montazeri’s memoirs (he opposed, but words twisted) and UN/human rights reports.  His Tahrir al-Wasila (Vol. 2) rules: no vaginal intercourse before age 9, but “no objection” to thighing, touching, or hugging even suckling infants. No cover—just clarifying the attribution.

They thought their rights were secure.

All it took was a religious maniac with an able assist from college Marxists and his lunatic fundamentalist supporters to strip them nearly overnight of every ounce of dignity.

…On March 7, 1979 Ayatollah Khomeini announced a mandatory Islamic dress code, whereby women lost most of their rights. Rollbacks in family law rights occurred, and the now infamous morality police were established to enforce them. Today, the authorities arrest thousands of women for their clothing. The punishment is a prison sentence, flogging, or a fine. Women get slapped, beaten, and dragged to police cars, in public and sometimes even by catchpole—a long pole with a noose at one end, used for controlling animals.

The day after Khomeini’s dress code announcement, tens of thousands of women in Iran took to the streets of Tehran in protest. Yet on March 9, Simin Daneshvar—novelist, poet, and renowned feminist—published an article in Kayhan in support. “If the price of winning the revolution is covering my head, I will do it proudly,” she said. Did she believe wearing a Hijab was the only price?

Amiri and Daneshvar were not alone in overlooking the potential loss of women’s rights during these early days of the revolution. Shirin Ebadi, former female judge, lawyer, and founder of a human rights center in 2001, admitted her mistake and issued an apology through the media. Feminist and social critic Nadereh Afshari escaped the Islamist Marxist (MEK) camp she had willingly joined to later report on the abuse of women and children in these camps. There were many more.

What is striking is that the extremists’ speeches before 1979 showed warning signs. In one, Ayatollah Khomeini outrightly condemned Pahlavi for granting women rights in the white revolution, saying it could cost him his crown. But, “in the excitement of the revolution, nobody paid much attention to what Ayatollah Khomeini was saying in Paris,” said Haleh Esfandiari, Iranian political and women’s issues scholar. “He said women will have a role in the society but within an Islamic framework. Nobody bothered in those days to ask, ‘What is the Islamic framework?’”

Was half a century of progress under Pahlavi long enough for women to assume their rights were unshakable? Many female intellectuals like those mentioned above were ultimately safe, with the family connections and funds to escape the country if needed—which many of them did. Many today say they were naïve to believe Khomeini’s promises, but they do so from the safety of the diaspora while women inside of Iran continue to struggle with the consequences.

WHAT IS THE ISLAMIC FRAMEWORK?

Beaten to death for removing your mandatory headscarf.

They have their female college-educated Marxist Revolutionary predecessors to thank for all of this. Very much like the AWFLs in the streets of New York City, Minneapolis or Los Angeles right now.

Or infesting Ivy League and liberal arts college campuses, spewing venom for the selected outrage of the day, with the freshly delivered protest signs du jour.

And now the US and Israel have blown the latest deviant, masochistic, tyrannical heir to that original robed and bearded nightmare visage all to what I hope are tiny little scorched pieces of putridity.

The progressive Western media is still in the throes of mourning for their fallen austere death preacher, and yet still not adverse to using and insulting the perpetual victims of his unmitigated cruelty one more time at the unlamented loss.

Official Iran is in mourning, too, with state media releasing what seems like a tribute in shockingly bad taste to non-paedophile-inclined Western eyes.

Personally, I think it’s perfect – the deviant cherry on top of their whole sick societal sundae.

Apparently, the swift, disgusted reaction from the civilized world at large to the AI-generated picture had some Iranian propaganda types doing some fast tap-dancing.

Oh, noes! They said. Not a harem! Those are the martyred children from the girls’ school destroyed by the missile!

Which actually makes it even more perfect, because that dead sumbish should be apologising to those murdered children, since it was his missile that killed them, not an Israeli or American one.

They’re also trying to claim that it wasn’t Mehr, the state news.

But here’s one of the creepiest videos you’ve probably ever seen in your life, which is where the stills came from.

Ghastly, just ghastly.

But so pitch-perfect for the vile old buzzard’s send-off, and the memes erupting around it with goats and lots of haram livestock.

If only they could have blown him up six or seven times, but I won’t be greedy.

They’re doing such a good job at whack-a-mullah.

Six, seven, or more of those is fine, too.
