The USAID debacle – a gift that keeps on giving
IF YOU don’t yet know what USAID is and how Elon Musk torched it, you must have been living on Mars. In which case this ‘long overdue house cleaning’ tweet from @JohannPbooks posted at the time pretty much sums it up – and what he rightly predicted would follow.
‘ . . .the same man who gave us rockets, electric cars, and more intelligence in one tweet than Congress produces in a decade – has set his sights on the festering bureaucracy known as the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). And the swamp creatures are screeching . . .’

Tucker Carlson was quick off the mark to delve into this ‘Pandora’s box‘ of US international aid and development, so called, that was delivered with a purpose and on conditions, and interviewed Mike Benz (for the second time). Benz is the man most responsible for laying bare the workings of the US Deep State and USAID’s strategic role in transitioning democracy into a covert (global) censorship and disinformation tyranny, especially since 2016. So here is another two hours of Benz’s unique trove of knowledge of how USAID worked, who was behind it all and who benefited.
One story followed another last week revealing the extent and depth of USAID racketeering. First, Clayton Morris’s Redacted report on the protests that followed as employees were locked out of the agency (with more funding than the CIA and responsible for regime change round the world), including a wonderful clip of Donald Trump saying that USAID was run by a bunch of radical lunatics, and clips of the very same radical lunatics shrieking their outrage, is a must-watch. It moves on to further questions about USAID money funnelled to the Clinton Foundation.
In another Redacted USAID follow-up, Morris blows the lid on child trafficking in Guatemala which he says was paid for by USAID . . .
A final Redacted episode I have selected reports Trump’s ultimatum to the FBI and how now they’re suing him to hide their corruption, plus more onthe USAID interference, including funds that went to the National Institutes of Health with which Anthony Fauci was involved.
Epoch Times reports on the speed of change since the inauguration. After three weeks, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has made over $1billion in cuts.
And it could be but the beginning of Musk’s swamp drainage operation. Just the News reports a former executive inside the USAID alleging that among politicians, it is mostly Democrats who benefited from its funding. Not long after Musk tweeted ‘There needs to be an immediate wave of judicial impeachments. This retweet suggests he already has some unaccountably rich Democrats in his sight line.
No wonder Bill Gates is unhappy. Vigilante News reports the megalomaniac’s not so ‘chilling’ warning to Musk, Trump and America, that Trump’s second-term agenda could result in ‘millions of deaths’. A threat that looks pretty lame these days, you’d think. It came when he was asked about Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency exposing corruption within USAID, an agency Gates has partnered with for years. Read more here.
