Law enforcement agencies across the state are pulling illegal aliens off the streets.

18-year-old Alishon Torres appeared in court in Memphis on March 10, charged with shooting a man 14 times. According to police, Torres said she shot the man because she believed he had inappropriate contact with a five-year-old relative. She is a Honduran national.

29-year-old Anibal Ramirez-Juarez was in court in Chattanooga last week. He was arrested on March 4 for speeding and driving on a suspended license. He is a Guatamalan national and has already been deported from the United States twice.

Davidson County police also arrested the following individuals:

28-year-old Darwin Jose Morales. – arrested March 1

44-year-old Lucio D. Arambula – arrested March 4

  • Arambula was charged with assault and harassment. He was booked without bond. Arambula was sentenced to 150 days in jail. 

41-year-old Franklin Alverez Zeledon – arrested March 5

  • Zeledon was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with damage over $1500, driver’s license required, altering title/registration/permit/plate and two counts of failure to be booked. He was booked on a $10,000 bond. 

56-year-old Juan Ramon Sanchez Trochez – arrested March 5

  • Trochez was charged with driving under the influence (2nd offense). He was booked on a $6000 bond. Trochez appeared in court and was sentenced on March 11 to 11 month 29 days in jail. He has a lengthy history of past charges including aggravated burglary and domestic abuse.

32-year-old Estuarda Rodrigo Camaja – arrested March 8

35-year-old Jesus Gonzalez-Hernandez – arrested March 8

44-year-old Vicente Hernandez-Lopez – arrested March 8

  • Hernandez-Lopez was charged with violation of probation and DUI (2nd offense). He was booked on a $4000 bond. 

20-year-old Eurimar K. Ramos Lucena – arrested March 8

  • Lucena was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. She was booked on a $100 bond. 

43-year-old Nelson Funentes-Mejia – arrested March 10

  • Funentes-Mejia was charged with probation violation and was sentenced to six months in jail. He was on probation for a DUI charge that occurred in May 2025.

43-year-old Amilcar A. Hernandez-Lainez – arrested March 10

  • Hernandez-Lainez was charged with holding or using an altered or false document or plate and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $5000 bond.

34-year-old Denia Zelaya-Garcia – arrested March 10

  • Zelaya-Garcia was charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury and was booked on a $25,000 bond.

Knox County police also arrested the following individuals:

58-year-old Edgar Carillo Martinez – arrested March 2

  • Martinez was charged with driving while license revoked and financial responsibility law. He was booked with no bond.

33-year-old Fabian Pedro Aguilera – arrested March 3

  • Aguilera was charged with especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, solicitation of a minor, and sexual exploitation of a minor. He was denied bond.

26-year-old Louis Hernandez Teratol – arrested March 4

  • Teratol was charged with public intoxication. He was booked on a $500 bond.

37-year-old Elmer Martinez – arrested March 8

  • Martinez was charged with DUI (first offense). He was booked on a $2500 bond.

42-year-old Juan Carlos – arrested March 8

  • Carlos was charged with domestic assault. He was booked on a $2500 bond. 

23-year-old Danyer Jose Gonzalez Ibarra – arrested March 9

  • Ibarra was charged with burglary and theft of merchandise. He was booked on a $1000 bond.

31-year-old Jaime Mauricio-Remigio – arrested March 9

  • Mauricio-Remigio was charged with DUI 1st offense). He was booked on a $5000 bond.

31-year-old Juan Perez Martin – arrested March 9

  • Martin was charged with theft up to $1000. He was booked on a $2000 bond.

32-year-old Osciel Gutierrez – arrested March 10

  • Gutierrez was charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest. He was booked on a $5500 bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
