Three Illegal Aliens Were Arrested In Davidson County After A Narcotics Investigation That Led To The Discovery Of 18 Pounds Of Drugs, Guns, And Cash.  Meanwhile 15 More Were Arrested In Davidson And Knox Counties On A Variety Of Charges.

Three illegal aliens were arrested in Davidson County after a narcotics investigation that led to the discovery of 18 pounds of drugs, guns, and cash.

33-year-old Alexander Franklin Rodriguez, 32-year-old Jose Araujo-Rivas, and 35-year-old Jose Gachuz-Zamora were arrested last week after police initially conducted a traffic stop on Rodriguez. After searching his vehicle, and later the home where he had been staying, police recovered 12 pounds of cocaine, a pound of meth, a pound of fentanyl, four pounds of marijuana, three guns, and cash.

All three are charged with drug possession, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Davidson County police also arrested the following individuals:

36-year-old Eric De Basiliio – arrested February 28

  • Basillio was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He was booked on a $2500 bond. Basillio was previously charged with public intoxication in 2024, but that case was dismissed.

36-year-old Lester Alexi Diaz – arrested March 1

  • Diaz was charged with driving under the influence and was booked on a $1000 bond. He was found guilty on March 2 and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail.

29-year-old Axel Yair Rojas Pineda – arrested March 1

  • Pineda was charged with driving under the influence and was booked on a $1000 bond. He was found guilty on March 2 and was sentenced to five days.

30-year-old Alejandro Perez – arrested March 1

  • Perez was charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and resisting stop/frisk/halt/arrest/search. He was booked on a $35,000 total bond. Perez has a number of previous drug and driving offenses dating back to 2013 that were all dismissed.

20-year-old Joselyn Naely Davila Lainez – arrested March 1

  • Lainez was charged with driving under the influence and was booked on a $1000 bond. 

24-year-old Dylan Esquivel – arrested March 1

  • Esquivel was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident with injury, and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $2500 bond. 

43-year-old Sribounthai Keopanya – arrested March 1

  • Keopanya was charged with two counts of failing to be booked on a state charge. He has dozens of previous charges dating back to 2013, including arson, theft, and drugs. He was booked on a $4000 total bond.

19-year-old Cristin Jefry Melendrez – arrested March 1

  • Melendrez was charged with reckless driving, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and driver’s license required. She was booked on a $7500 total bond.

41-year-old Jorge Eduardo Ulibarra Rodriguez – arrested March 2

  • Rodriguez was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $1500 bond. 

21-year-old Lucas Alonzo Perez – arrested March 2

  • Perez was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $2500 bond. 

24-year-old Elvin Nahun Caceres Pavon – arrested March 2 

  • Pavon was charged with driving under the influence. He was booked on a $2000 bond before being found guilty and being sentenced to 48 hours in jail.

29-year-old Alexander Gonzalez Olivera – arrested March 2

  • Olivera was charged with driving under the influence and was booked on a $1000 bond. 

Knox County police also arrested the following individuals:

35-year-old Gatica Zenaido – arrested February 27

  • Zenaido was charged with domestic assault. He was booked without bond.

25-year-old Martires Ariel Chavarria Rivera – arrested March 1

  • Rivera was charged with DUI (first offense), open container, driving without a license, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and failure to exercise due care. He was booked on a $7000 total bond.

38-year-old Eduard Lorenzo Bocanegra – arrested March 2

  • Bocanegra was charged with DUI (2nd offense). He was denied bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
