The commie Cabbage Patch doll with the rictus grin who really, really wants to keep her job running Los Angeles into the dirt while executing the plans of the progressive cabal said something so flatly unbelievable on its face and so frankly revolting to boot during an interview that she deserves to be run out of town just for the lies alone.
Sadly, LA Mayor Karen Bass will not be. But this little snippet is going to…well. Okay. SHOULD make it God AWFUL uncomfortable for the tiny gargoyle.
The mayor was on a podcast hosted by lawyer and former MSNBC anchor Katie Phang (WHO? Right. I know.), who has turned into an “investigative journalist.’ Right now, for instance, she’s filed a lawsuit against Todd Blanche over the release of the Epstein files (and yawn) – how original, besides hosting her podcast as part of the uber progressive loonfest on the MeidasTouch network.
In any event, she had the mayor on this weekend, and the chitchat came around to Spencer Pratt. Rictus grin competed with Phang’s studiously composed network anchor ‘so concerned’ face as the two women proceeded to trash one of the few uncowed and outspoken private individuals advocating tirelessly for LA fires victims as exploitive and ‘reprehensible.’
LA Mayor Karen Bass:
Well, honestly, before this, I had never heard of Spencer Pratt. But the thing I am concerned about is that I feel like he’s exploiting the grief of people in the Palisades. And I think that’s reprehensible. pic.twitter.com/PGbn9UKmkZ

REPREHENSIBLE SHOULD BE THE NEW DEPLORABLE
Is this not something else? The nerve. Gracious goodness, Pratt must really be drawing blood for both of these women to pull out the virtue-signaling amnesia card.
For one thing, Mayor Bass is well acquainted with Spencer Pratt, far more so than the annoyance she makes him out to be here.
Back in November, she was already shaking her head madly with that frozen smile glued into place as a local anchor quizzed her over her recent announcement about the Palisades area’s ‘first rebuild.’ It turned out to be nothing more than a developer’s project approved before the fire. It had already been sitting there, constructed but unoccupied, with all the permits in hand, and had nothing to do with the fire by proximity.
Oooh. Then that pain-in-the-tuchus Pratt called her out on it.
Not every day that the Mayor of Los Angeles goes on national television and calls you a liar. You’re right, Karen Bass, it’s not just Spencer Pratt. Thousands of Palisades residents got screwed over by your failures and we aren’t going to stay quiet. pic.twitter.com/g4wPCNS4TE

For another, it would be one thing if Pratt had landed his private jet and driven up to the Palisades to exploit these poor people a couple of times a month. These poor victims.
What Bass and Phang sailed right on by during their smug condemnation is that Pratt and his family are victims. The Pratt family home burned to the ground.
His parents’ home also burned to the ground, and the grind of trying to deal with Karen Bass’s city government, along with the rest of the California nightmare, finally forced them to sell their homesites of forty years.
The rebuild costs are insane, and the senior Spencers had been dropped by their insurance company prior to the fire.
Former reality TV star Spencer Pratt has revealed that his 76-year-old parents are being forced to sell their home of 40 years after it was destroyed in the California wildfires—because they are unable to afford the “$10 million” he says it will take to rebuild the property.
Pratt, 41, whose own home in the Pacific Palisades was also burned to the ground by the deadly blaze, took to TikTok to share his anger and frustration over his parents’ situation, while vowing to “do everything in [his] power” to hold those “responsible” for the fires “accountable.”
“After 40 years in the Palisades my parents were forced to put our family home (dirt) up for sale today,” he wrote, while sharing images of the decimated property.
My dad works everyday 7am – 7pm as dentist to have the house paid off. He had farmers insurance for 40 something years. When they dropped him because of his GPS location he told my mom in December he didn’t think it was big deal getting on the stop gap “fair plan” he said “what’s the point our house is 120 years old it would take the entire town burning down for us to need insurance.” Everything he worked his entire life for burned to the ground. Everything my mom has cherished of our family burned to the ground. My dad has been paying his state taxes for 40 Years in the palisades. FOR WHAT? Watching what criminally negligent politicians and govt officials/employees have done to my parents at the end of their lives…
Their story isn’t unique among the longtime victims who lived in those hills and had purchased and paid off even century-old homes decades beforehand.
Pratt lives in an Airstream on his lot.
REPREHENSIBLE
Did she really say the words reprehensible? Imagine you lose everything because this incompetent fool couldn’t do a thing to save your town and then she tried to cover it up. But Spencer comes along and uncovers all the evidence. We would have no justice without him.

…“Before this, I had never heard of Spencer Pratt… I feel like he’s exploiting the grief of people in the Palisades, and I think that’s reprehensible… I am so well served and I served at the state at level and at the federal level. So I have the relationships. I know how our government works. I think he could benefit by a basic civics course, because I don’t think he understands the basics of how, uh, any government works.”
Calling oneself “well served” is one hell of a euphemism for taking a salary from taxpayers for over 2 decades.
Interestingly enough, Pratt is learning and then teaching the rest of us, particularly the fire victims, how Bass’s concept of government doesn’t WORK.
He was on Joe Rogan’s podcast recently and the wildest little anecdote came up concerning Bass’s infamous visit to Ghana while the hills around her city went up in flames. It turns out that not only was the mayor herself gone at a time that she knew was perilous, but her deputy mayor – a position DIRECTLY APPOINTED BY THE MAYOR – was sitting at home on house arrest for having called a bomb threat into city hall.
This is absolutely mind blowing!
When Karin Bass was in Ghana as Los Angeles burned, the deputy mayor she left in charge was at home on house arrest.
For phoning in a bomb threat.
We are indeed governed by criminals.

He later pled guilty.

Spencer Pratt has promised that, should he win, none of his deputies will call in bomb threats.
REPREHENSIBLE
The reservoir that was empty during the fires? I can only think, thanks to her extensive training in the communist Venceremos Brigade (eight trips to Cuba, boning up on ideology and revolutionary techniques), the government Mayor Bass is an expert on is Cuban, because that Los Angeles critical reservoir looking exactly the way it did before those fires created all the victims who are now being exploited by a fellow victim.
This is the water reservoir 16 months after firemen ran out of water pressure early during the Pacific Palisades fire.

REPREHENSIBLE
Yet, pesky, loud-mouthed Spencer Pratt is the problem here for these women.
People are, frankly, aghast at the arrogance oozing from the mayor.

REPREHENSIBLE
Bass is running scared, and she should be, as should Pratt’s other serious competitor, LA councilwoman Nithya Raman, who is considered to be even more progressive than Bass.
This is a hometown, homegrown bad boy. He’s pissed, and his message is resonating across all sectors and income levels.
Spencer Pratt — the 2000s reality TV star turned 2010s online influencer turned 2020s populist firebrand — is now a formidable candidate in the L.A. mayoral race, gauged by fundraising totals, poll numbers and incoming criticism from chief rivals. This ascent is a shock for the city’s liberal establishment, which considers him an unqualified clown. It shouldn’t be.
His reactionary run, a revivalist pitch to make the city “once again ‘camera-ready’ for all its citizens” by cracking down on crime and corruption, has gained traction with his rollout of a slick and mischievous digital strategy. It culminated in a recent campaign ad rollout riffing on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” to knock his competitors, incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and progressive L.A. City Councilmember Nithya Raman. The button on the spot was a callback to his own Act I inciting incident — how his house burnt down in last year’s Pacific Palisades wildfire as a result, he insists, of government incompetence.
…For generations, and with few exceptions, the city has been defined by liberal ethos and Democratic Party machine politics. Even brand-name billionaire developer Rick Caruso’s $100 million-plus campaign war chest and spin on latter-day Rockefeller Republicanism couldn’t win him the mayoralty last go-around. Yet within this sprawling bubble, L.A. has long cultivated consequential strains of backlash, from Howard Jarvis’ tax revolt to the xenophobia of Stephen Miller, who currently oversees the White House’s anti-immigration policies.
‘Save our town‘ is really a thing.
…An insider industry set has increasingly embraced Pratt. On April 27, film producer Hilary Shor posted on Threads about a lunch that Larry David’s wife Ashley hosted at her house for the candidate. “Miracles do happen I am voting for him,” Shor wrote, adding that actress turned philanthropist Irena Medavoy “and many others were transfixed by the power of his message which hopefully will help save our town.”
Save what’s left of LA, perhaps.
Bass has won the coveted Word Salad endorsement.
If you needed one more reason to not vote for Karen Bass, former vice president Kamala Harris gives her full endorsement for Bass’ reelection.

While for victims of the fires sixteen months ago, there are just memories. If they’re really lucky, they still have some precious videos.

Pretty reprehensible to exploit those little birds like that.
