But for two totally worn-out knees – thanks to NHS incompetence during the covid era, meaning they can never be fixed now – I would have been at this rally.
I was pleased that you managed to meet Tommy’s mother. Mothers and families are so important. I think of mine much more than I used to. I don’t think I appreciated how important the ‘Christian’ family was until now.
Your report exuded a friendly atmosphere throughout – more important than any speech. Police tactics have infuriated me for years. No wonder they want to ban marches as to police them is clearly too much like work.
Your quite wonderful description has cheered me up enormously. Maybe there is hope. You must be working into the night a great deal. Keep the flame burning up for us.
