Letter of the day – The Conservative Woman

Dear Editor

After the brutal murder of Henry Nowak was shown on TV, Nigel Farage was the only politician with the guts to speak out and used the term ‘pure cold rage’. Although the majority could understand what he stated was about a rage at the injustice that was cold and never meant to be the sort of hot rage that followed on the streets of Southampton, many Labour politicians blamed Nigel for those riots, despite the fact it is down to them being soft on illegal and other immigration that has ultimately caused the frustration that was ready to erupt, even if Nigel had stayed silent. Now we have far more violent riots in Northern Ireland and so far Nigel has not spoken a word about the Sudanese immigrant who tried to behead an innocent victim which set off the violence there.

However, for those who rioted in both Southampton and in Northern Ireland, there are millions who say little, their rage is not just a cold rage, it is a silent rage due to the erosion of freedom of speech created by socialist dogma and intolerance. They fear stating that violent Islam is a serious problem and that illegal immigrants should not be here, or words used in much stronger terms, in case it brings the police knocking on their doors due to them being institutionally racist against the indigenous British population. The fear factor created by those such as Sir Keir Starmer and others of the intolerant left has been well and truly sown.

The only way those raging in silence about the loss of freedom of speech and democracy is to vote for Reform, as we saw in the recent local elections. Those like Nigel Farage and others who speak out are branded ‘far right’, rather than the fact they are right. Those who vote for Reform are criticised by an out-of-touch elite. Yet after decades of being ignored over such things as mass immigration and Brexit by those elected to govern, where else can the silent majority who live in fear of the knock on the door should they speak out go but to Reform, the one party that has the guts to say what the silent electorate dare not say?
