WHEN will they ever learn? I am talking about politicians mainly, but journalists are as bad. Have they not noticed that Starmer’s U-turns are the best things he has done? Take for example, his reinstatement of the winter fuel allowance, his dilution of family farm tax, and his repeal of the cancelling of local elections. Actually, they are the only good things he’s done. But instead of praising him, Mrs Badenoch and ‘Conservative’ papers such as the Mail on Sunday mock him. What a missed opportunity! They should have said, ‘At last, dear Keir, you have done the right thing. All along we were pleading with you to revoke the Chagos treachery. Thank you that you have courageously defied the lunatics in your cabinet and for once done some good for England!’
