Wales is very concerned that toddlers might be getting away with hate crimes, as they so often do.
No doubt the children, many of whom cannot speak more than a few words, are at least thinking about dropping the “N” word as they snatch the blocks or Tonka toys (are they still a thing?) from their companions, and it’s important that the police start building files on these budding white supremacists who may grow up to wave Wales or British flags.

Welsh nurseries have been told to report “racist incidents” to police under Labour-backed guidance.
The guidance, issued to more than 300 nurseries across Wales, is aimed at turning early years settings into “anti-racist” environments.
Childcare workers are advised to assess whether a “racist incident” could constitute a hate crime before reporting it to police.
The guidance also instructs staff to call 999 in emergencies or contact 101 in non-emergency situations.
Of course, in this era where the blue-haired brigade run our educational institutions, we should be long past the time when we are surprised that a school teacher or administrator would be on the lookout for racism in every interaction, even between toddlers. It is their reason for being, after all, having long ago given up on teaching anything academic, such as the alphabet.
But it’s another thing entirely to now escalate things to the level of informing the police, who no doubt will maintain records that will be lying in wait for later harassment and prosecution by the no-doubt soon arriving British caliphate.
When recording incidents, staff are instructed to note whether the alleged racism was “adult to child”, “systemic racism”, “adult to adult”, or “child to child”.
The guidance also encourages teachers and childcare workers to discuss “anti-racist policy” during staff meetings.
The guidance has been given to all caregivers and teachers of children from toddlerhood through the end of the primary school years, so basically from pre-K through 6th or 7th grade. Rather than scolding a child for being mean for whatever reason, the entire school system is working hard to become an “anti-racist” environment where the consequences for certain real or perceived offenses will include being logged by or even visited by the constabulary.
The guidance, first issued in 2024, has been circulated by the National Day Nurseries Association.
It is contained within a document produced by Diversity and Anti-Racist Professional Learning (DARPL).
Another stated aim of DARPL is to ensure “minority ethnic stories, contributions, and histories are taught throughout the revised Curriculum for Wales”.
I suppose it makes sense, since Britain as a whole is headed to a future where the English, Welsh, Scots, and Irish are a minority.

Unless you train the kids to be sensitive to the cultural needs of their new rulers, there’s no telling what the consequences might be.

Of course, children should be taught not to be mean or to bully others. That has always been one among many things schools do as a matter of course.

But there appears to be a whole-of-society effort to rewrite history, establish new norms, and emphasize racial grievances.
It’s not even based on the absurd notion that “diversity is our strength,” but is more along the lines of “white people are bad and should cringe in fear of offending anybody with a skin color darker than café au lait.
It’s hard to argue that Britain is an especially racist country, given the fact that the Conservative Party has a black woman as its leader, who replaced a British Indian man. What distinguishes them from the ideal minority, in the view of the left, is that they are not anti-white.
