Church Voter Guides Requests Questions For 2024 State and Federal Primaries

Press Release:

Church Voter Guides for 2024 State and Federal Primaries

Nonpartisan guides focused on topics of specific interest to Christian voters

Chattanooga, Tennessee (March 12, 2024) As Americans are increasingly finding out, every election  matters, especially when it’s in your hometown. However, getting ourselves and others ‘out to vote’ is  not enough. We must be informed to vote our values, especially as people of faith, and particularly when  it involves our children and our tax dollars.

We are currently accepting questions for the following seats:

1. State House Districts (26-30)

2. State Senate District 10

3. U.S. House District 3

To participate, visit our dedicated question submission site HERE (https://AskChattanooga.org). Encourage  your friends, family, and community members to participate as well. Every question matters, and your  voice counts.

The deadline for question submissions is March 29th. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with the  candidates and seek clarity on the issues that matter most to you.

“Rick Toner, Voter Guide spokesman, enthusiastically announced, ‘Church Voter Guides, a  Chattanooga-based nonprofit, has successfully entered its second election season! Initially founded in  Colorado Springs, this year marks a significant milestone as we continue to grow and serve more voters.’  He continued with vigor, ‘What sets this Guide apart is its unique approach: 1) It’s nonpartisan, meaning  it doesn’t support or oppose any specific candidate or party; 2) It poses questions to candidates on topics  highly relevant to Christian voters, offering them up to 120 words to express their views; and 3) It’s  meticulously designed to be 501(c)(3)-compliant, which enables us to promote and distribute it through  local churches and other 501(c)(3) organizations. Plus, we’re excited to announce that it will soon be  available online for everyone to read and download for free.’

Toner added with pride, ‘The core purpose of our Voter Guide is to educate and inform voters about  each candidate’s stance on a range of policy issues they’re likely to tackle if elected. This election  season, candidates running for Hamilton County offices have been thoroughly surveyed on topics  including Critical Race Theory, sex education, the parent’s role in education, pro-life positions, and  more. We are committed to publishing candidates’ answers to our questionnaire in the Voter Guide  verbatim — without any editing, revision, or editorializing. This ensures the integrity of the candidates’  responses, accurately representing their positions and perspectives on these critical issues. All this  information is then conveniently shared through our online guide, empowering voters to make informed  decisions about who they feel is the best candidate for their community.’”
