A POLL for GB News suggested that only 14 per cent of those aged between 18 and 24 would volunteer to fight in a ‘necessary war’. It suggests that Generation Z think the recent grim predictions of conflict have nothing to do with them. ‘Not my war and not my fight’ was the message.
This attitude should not surprise us. Generation Z have had politically correct schooling, endured Project Fear, been weaned on the mobile phone and primed to the influence of social media as the tool of power. Failure to conform means cancellation. They have been nurtured on a narrative that denigrates national pride and told that traditional white values are racist and non-inclusive. Generation Z have also been led to believe that globalism is the planet’s only saviour, where a Great Reset will necessitate replacing the nation state along with democracy and individual freedoms and liberties.
Faith in the nation state has been undermined. Whilst their forebears were willing to fight for king and country and were rewarded with a democracy that protected their liberties and freedoms (a land fit for heroes), the new world order does not stand for these principles. The globalist devotees have instead led Generation Z to accept the idea that they ‘will own nothing and be happy’. They have been groomed and conditioned to adopt and adapt to a more servile and compliant culture that appeases and yields to those who are seeking complete authority over us.
We are now at crunch point. The writing is on the wall for the Western globalists’ ambitions to take over. Not all nation states are on board, with Russia and China notable exceptions. These adversaries have adopted the dictum ‘If you want peace, prepare for war’. Their military machine is manned, they have prepared their own factories for armaments and they have indoctrinated their Generation Z into mindsets prepared to go into battle.
In contrast, the globalist propaganda and one-sided narratives promulgated by western mainstream media are unravelling with unintended consequences. Our Generation Z are beginning to see through it. Whilst the internet continues to gag the thinkers, lawsuits are gaining traction against those multinational elites who thought they had immunity, more are listening to Andrew Bridgen, and more worry about the influence of mass immigration on our way of life. More European voters are supporting parties which challenge the unelected global puppets of the EU and their incessant march to Federalism. Scepticism and distrust are beginning to take hold.
Rudyard Kipling’s 1890 poem Tommy comes to mind: ‘It’s Tommy this and Tommy that and Tommy fall behind. But it’s “please to walk in front, sir”, when there’s trouble in the wind’.
There is trouble in the wind. Our foes are ready, we are not.
