Pro-Hamas Monsters Vandalize War Veterans Cemetery – HotAir

The pro-Hamas, anti-Israel radicals aren’t just causing trouble on the nation’s college campuses. Their “protests” have spilled out into the streets, endangering the lives of others, particularly Jews, and shown up at the offices of public officials. This weekend, however, they managed to reach a new low out in California. Hundreds of demonstrators showed up at the Los Angeles National Cemetery, where more than 80,000 veterans have been laid to rest. They sprayed graffiti on the arches and blocked the roadways for hours. The chants that floated across the hallowed grounds were the same obscene slogans we’ve been hearing all across the country of late. This blatant act of disrespect should show the rest of the nation precisely what type of disgusting cretins we’re currently dealing with. (National Review)

Pro-Palestinian protesters defaced the Los Angeles National Cemetery on Sunday, a national burial space where more than 80,000 veterans of World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, and more, are laid to rest.

Protesters spray-painted “Free Gaza” on the entrance to the memorial and chanted “long live Palestine,” “there is only one solution,” “from the river from the sea, Palestine will be free,” and “Biden, Biden, you’re a liar,” according to video footage of the event. Hundreds of protesters held signs that read “ceasefire now,” “stop bombing Gaza,” “end the occupation now,” “stop the genocide,” and more. One sign read “Zionist = Nazi.”

The protest also shut down Wilshire Boulevard, which is between Interstate 405 and Glendon Avenue, on Sunday afternoon.

California Congressman Brad Sherman summed up the awful situation nicely.

One particularly moronic protester was seen carrying a sign that read “Zionist = Nazi.” Oh, really? A person chanting Hamas slogans referring to exterminating the Jewish people is calling other people “Nazis?” Apparently irony is too difficult of a concept for most of these room-temperature IQ activists to grasp.

I doubt many of them even paused to consider the nature of the ground they were desecrating. The remains of fallen heroes from wars dating back more than a century are memorialized there. People of all colors and faiths have given their lives in service to this country, including American Jews. Adding insult to injury, Sam Yebri points out that the graffiti on the arch includes a red, inverted triangle. That’s a symbol of a Nazi concentration camp.

Here’s some video of the disgusting display captured by a local news outlet. They even managed to capture the person who sprayed the graffiti in action though he was wearing a mask. Perhaps someone can identify him and inform the authorities. Defacing a tomb or monument is still a crime in California and can result in jail time. Perhaps a little time in the Crowbar Hotel would get the message across to these degenerates.
