The Tennessee Conservative Staff –

An illegal alien was arrested in Davidson County this week on charges of vehicle theft, evading arrest, and possession of a weapon.

20-year-old Sebastian Rafael Orozco-Avellaneda was taken into custody on Monday by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

He faces two felony charges of vehicle theft greater than $10,000 but less than $60,000 and possessing a weapon with intent during an offense. He is also facing a misdemeanor charge of evading arrest.

His bond was set at a total of $77,500 for all charges.

This is not Orozco-Avellaneda’s first run-in with law enforcement in Davidson County.

A review of his criminal history shows that he was previously charged with possession or casual exchange in 2022 and assault in 2023. Both of those charges were dismissed.

Inmate records now show that Orozco-Avellaneda is being held on an immigrant detainer. He will remain in jail until he is turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The immigrant detainer means Orozco-Avellaneda is most likely in this country illegally.

In a post on X, Brandon Lewis, founder of The Tennessee Conservative said in response to the police report:

“Remember, there’s no problem in Tennessee. Republicans are on the job. There are no state-level solutions. Just live with the consequences…”
