Message to Tennessee Dem Steve Cohen (Op-Ed By Kat Stansell)

Dem. Rep. Steve Cohen made the news recently, by whining on the “X” machine that “very few stood for the black national anthem” at Sunday’s Super Bowl, disparaging the crowd as he did so. Note to Rep Cohen: that was not the country’s real national anthem.

Steve Cohen is, however, a typical Lefty, and he follows Obama’s edicts instinctively: divide people any way you can. He knows how to do that. Apparently, however, he doesn’t know how to bring good things to his district.

Let me remind you of Mr. Cohen’s district, and his hometown which he represents. He is, of course, from HD9, Memphis, the fastest disintegrating, most embarrassing city in the state.  Guess he knows no shame – that takes morals and values.

Numbers tell the story.

From citydata.com, the crime rate in Memphis, TN, is 3.5  times greater than the US average, AND HIGHER THAN 99.5% of all US CITIES. That was 9% higher than 2019.  Murders were up 33% in the same one year period.

Read that again.

Memphis has become a bruised-blue city that is on par with NYC or LA. The rest of the state is appalled at its rapid deterioration, and I’m guessing that a lot in Memphis are as well.

People like Steve Cohen are the problem. In Congress, Cohen only voted with the US Constitution 18% of the time. Please refer to the Freedom Index, from the New American magazine.

Crime is exploding in TN’s most “blue” city, yet this congress creature takes his time punching buttons on his phone to disparage the Super Bowl crowd who stands in respect for AMERICA?? I decided to punch a few buttons myself, to bring this to the attention of TN.

Note to District 9 voters. You have a representative who barely supports our nation. The differences between us are not skin color, but morals and values. What is good for America is good for us all. I do not believe that the owners of homes and  businesses; parents who care about their children; and those who like to walk the streets safely are excited about the disintegration of their area.

Why do YOU vote for such a divisive person? Or do you?

Let me leave you with that thought. All of Tennessee must join together to verify the security and integrity of our election.  Make sure that people like Cohen, who have presided over the decline and fall of Memphis, are really chosen, ELECTED not “selected”. The voting processes in the Volunteer State are run by folks who do not answer to the people, who are appointed instead of elected. It has been a while since  they’ve answered real questions.

If you live in Memphis and approve of racial divisiveness and soaring crime rates, then you’re good; you do get what you vote for – IF you voted for this. If you are ready for a real change,  then be a part of it. Get involved to find new candidates who represent YOU, and to ensure that your process of choice, aka voting, will truly reflect those choices.
